UdiUnger-Diffutherm 20mm reveal boards are:-
- a tough, renderable, high performance wood fibre insulation board.
- a great way to finish insulation systems off around windows and doors
- the best way to create neat, renderable edges to all Unger wood fibre insulation systems.
- durable with good resistance to weather.
Product overview
Where is it used?
- UdiUnger-Diffutherm 20mm reveal board finishes the edges of all the Udi wood fibre insulation systems.
- It is used internally and externally to provide insulation to door and window reveals.
How is it used?
- UdiUnger-Diffutherm 20mm reveal boards are be glued in place with UdiSPECIAL ADHESIVE.
- Finish your main boards flush with the edges of your window reveals.
- The reveal board should be cut to fit neatly between the window/door frame and the front of the main boards.
- If the reveal board abuts timber or wood fibre then it can be glued with UdiSPECIAL ADHESIVE.
- If the board abuts any masonry surface then use Baumit Star Contact or Baumit RK 70N to bond it.

How much will you need?
- Each UdiDiffutherm 20mm reveal board is 1300 x 800mm or 1.04m2.
- Allow 5% for waste depending on the complexity of the area to be insulated.

Its never ideal to let wood fibre insulation boards get soaked by the rain, however, should it happen they will dry out again and be just as robust.
What is their thermal conductivity?
The boards are very high density at around 270kg/m³ and so their conductivity is a little higher than other wood fibre boards at 0.048 W/mK. However, they make up for this by being much better at absorbing sound and also by adding a lot of thermal mass the a structure.
